Buying a second property

Hi I wonder if there is anyone who could give me some advice.

I am wanting to buy a second property in spain. I am a non resident and work in the UK. I have equity available in my house here in spain and the house that I am buying has equity available too. A very small deposit is available. Is this possible and if so how will I go about it.

Yes its more than possible, we have done what you are looking to do. Just plan the finances well. Apart form the 12+% you will need for legals, purchase taxes, you will probably need upto 3-5000 euros for extra security on your property (safes, lock changes, window / door grills etc). Plus furniture, we spent another 10% of the purchase price for a 2 bed on decent stuff. You can get cheaper but the qulaity was awful unless you just plan to rent the property out and its not for yourself then the 4k euro furniture packs may be OK.

We went to several shows (Atlas exhibitions, place in the sun etc) and got a lot of info, then came out on an insepction trip and bought. We bought via Atlas, they have been fine, yes you pay a little more but they manage the whole process for you which if you have a busy work schedule in the UK is worth it in my opinion.
