I have had reports from people that have been over to Torrevieja lateley that The Lounge Bar in Aguas Nuevas is really struggling at the moment and no one seems to be using it ! Can anyone update me on the current situation !

Hope the Lounge Bar picks up again shortly as we shall be there in a couple of weeks and really enjoy most of the entertainment they provide it is quite a walk to the Bull and Bush and Harp Bar - understand that JRS bar (near The Ship) was having difficulties as well only hope that they have got the roof on for the coming months and that they will still do food last time I went the Chef was on holidayOriginalmente publicado por David Priestman -

do hope that the lounge bar is still going to be open when i go out , one thing the lounge bar could do to help make more money it to serve food , but the only problem is they would need more room

We went last Thursday and had great time dancing. You are confusing the problem venue with Santa Pola Palace ,which is owned by the same man. That closed down a while ago but the Lounge Bar is fine.Comentario

Thanks for the concern regarding the Lounge Bar. I am pleased to say we are as busy as ever, and in fact are adding new tables and chairs as we speak! The writer who mentioned Santa Pola Palace is correct, that one did'nt work ! oh well can't win 'em all! As regards serving food, I know it would make more money but I think it would spoil the club type atmosphere........by the way, our new web site will be ready soon...www.yourloungebar.com...........another couple of weeks. I was there last night for the first time in months - business as usual
