I was over at Campoamor last week but did not play. They were playing on Campoamor but I was told they are on eight temporary greens, they are doing a lot of work on Las Rambles only nine holes open. Villa Martin is in poor condition. Roda which is a 10 minute drive from Campoamor is now open and there are good reports about it. Another new coarse has just opened in the area I think it is called La Serena there is a lot of water hazerds on it again I have heard good reports. I am out again late Nov hoping to play Campoamor if it is back on greens.

Borrowed this from the other board on 18 Oct for you:
The following information is for the benefit of visitors and not for locals, locals may have a different opinion for various reasons including cost and travelling time but visitors do not expect to come to Spain and play inferior or damaged courses regardless of green fee.
Las Ramblas---- 9 holes closed, play back 9 twice
Villamartin ---- Very poor greens and almost un-playable, informed today that extensive work to be carried out but as yet not decided when to start.
Campoamor ---- Many holes closed with temporary holes but informed yesterday that more work to be carried out.
Stay clear of these courses regardless of reduced fees.
.......................
La Finca ---- In good condition but a few damaged greens, now have 19 holes open to make up for the poor green condition of some of the other holes. Had a group play there the other day and enjoyed it.
La Serena ( new course )---- excellent condition but water on 16 holes, a nice straight iron shot of the tee will keep you out of trouble.
Roda Golf ( new course )---- Excellent course, suitable for all players.
greens are beginning to show some wear ( very little ) and I have received notification today that on the 16th October deep coring of the greens will commence.
Knowing the staff at Roda I would imagine that this would have no great effect on the enjoyment of the course.
No other adverse information about the other courses in the area.
