Laptop in Spain

Hi, Here in the UK I have an account with Tiscali but when I go over to my home in Spain(about 3 times a year) will I be able to access my emails and use a laptop using my Tiscali account.

If not how would I be able to access my email etc.

I use internet cafe's they are cheap enough if you are only here for a few weeks a year

Hi Yorkie,
You will need a Spanish server if you have a land-line here. If not you can use a server in England using your British mobile phone, but it is very exspensive.

We use our laptop when here and use a server which does not say we have to have a twelve month contract.

I use wannado or gonuts4free dialup to get on line with my lap top when I am over, just pay per minute no other fees.

If your laptop has wireless connectivity you can access the interent at the nearest "hotspot" for free. I think the KFC in Torrevieja is the local one.

You can access your Tiscali email from anywhere from any internet computer - just go to www.tiscali.co.uk and click on the email link on the Tiscali homepage. It will then ask for your email address and password and away you go.

This connects you directly to the Tiscali email server - the same place your laptop downloads your emails from.
However, if your addressbook is on your laptop (Outlook express), this will not be on the email server so you will need to re-enter any email addresses that you want to send to.
