Hola all, I have a land phone line, since we use our house perhaps 10 or so weeks per annum I wonder if I should get a spanish cell phone instead. Sorry if this an old topic but have only recently joined up.

If you have an old mobile that is not locked you can just buy a Spanish PAYG sim and put it in, it may well be cheaper over the year.

I agree with Wendy and would like to add that the calls with Movistar pay as you go are very reasonable and if you ask about a Jovive account at the Dog n Bone (La Zenia) you can call the U.K from your mobile for about 18cents a minute... simple to set up and use and saving us loads.
