I have been told it isn't easy to find work. My husband and I ran our own transport business for 11 years and he is an HGV2 driver and I can do anything from accounts/payroll, secretarial work, exhibition work etc etc and are both prepared to both almost anything to get the money coming in. Does anyone have any suggestions on the best place to find work?

You will struggle and certainly at this time of year. Do you speak fluent Spanish? If not you will be reduced to working in either a bar or selling houses. Not much else on offer. Try going online to the local newspapers and checking the sits vacant. Might give you some guide on whats on offer.

Cath saying "reduced to" is a bit harsh, it's a job after all.

Getting Work
Thanks very much for all your honesty. I didn't think it would be easy, but guess when someone is trying to sell you property the picture is always more rosy than reality. Although we ran our own company for 11 years we are both now working for employers and life is much less stressful so that isn't an issue. Thanks again all.
