I am going to playa flemanca next weekend for a couple of days can anyone recommend a nice restaurant but not chinese

Hi, Been to P.F. last three years and had some great meals in the com.centre. Our favourite would be O,NIELS.

The Hungarian resturant in Playa Flamenca centre is terrific, early meals (b4 7pm) great value, gets a bit more expensive after 7 but worth it, you will come out feeling 'fullup!'

My favourite restaurant in the Commercial centre is MariTaus. Very friendly service, great food and exceptional value for money. The Indian restaurant up beside Esterhazy's is also worth a visit.

a fantastic spanish restaurant that no ones seems to ever mention is "Maria's Bar" (formally Harleguins) up on Horizonte (next to what use to be the Shamrock) - Maria is famous for being a little fierce but the food is out of this world!

Try the salmon with cream sauce or the steaks with peppercorn sauce - you will not be disappointed!

NAUTILUS, Punta Prima on sea front. Does a pretty standard menu with excellent salads. Service can be erratic.

PIZZA NOSTRA: Punta Prima on 332. Large well run Spanish restaurant with an extensive menu at reasonable prices. Service good at all times. Also branches in Mil Palmeres and in Town at International Plaza. (24/01/2007)

Hi can recommend Puccinis at Punta Prima or Cabo Roig Also The Italian Affair at Cabo Roig all the same family but all excellent. If you like Indian Ghandi at Punta Prima is very popular.Can't recmend anythig in Flamenca Beach as they are all much the same run of the mill places you get in half empty commercial places like this.

Our favourite restaurant around the area is The papaya tree in playa flamenca c.c. Do an excellent menu del dia for 8 euros at lunch , and we went there last week in the evening and had a set menu for around 13 euro each. It is a bit expensive but the quality of the food and surroundings make it worthwhile. Excellent service too.Also like the hungarian on the top floor. They do a great set menu for 10 euros.

We are coming this weekend to almoradi to check on the apartment at royal gardens, We was are staying in torre golf near playa flemanca, and we was going to eat out around playa flemanca but now after seeing your post we have change our minds and now going to eat in Almoradi can you recommend any good restaurants ,

charlie, sorry for the delay in replying, "Marias" bar is up on what is called something like Horizonte - opposite the Friendly Bar, just along from the Sundowner - hope thats enough - def worth a visit!
