Sheeeeeeeeeeesh, sorry for trying to help, could have done without the(obvious smartass geography lesson) perhaps wont bother in future.

BTW folks, it is not exactly clear where anyone is at a given time as most people state UK and Spanish base so could have been a Spain resident.

Get a taxi it may cost slightly more ,you can negociate a price, you will be fully insured ,you will not be forced to lie to the Guardia that it is your friend picking you up when you leave the airport.

Sorry Silke, Northern Ireland is definitely part of the U.K as our currency will tell you and also any atlas. Our wee country did well tonight in the football against Sweden, good to see Ireland doing well also, maybe we will meet in the finals hopefully.

Hi Murray, Yes Northern Ireland is doiing VERY well indeed. David Healy is a superb striker. Makes you wonder what an all Ireland team could achieve - look at how well the Rugby team are doing! I don't think we will see that happen though - do you?

Good afternoon murray, Your right this is a great wee country, and last night was one of the greatest football nights I have been to at Windror park in the 26 years I have lived over here. and I`v had the privilege during these years to see many brilliant games of football, and last nights game is up there in my top 10 ever, our lads were the under dogs from the start according to the national tabloids but in our local papers,The Belfast Telegraph, News letter, they agreed that we would be up against a much better team on the night "Sweden" The sweds go 1 up then we started over in the stands with the cheering, singing, chanting, --
northern ireland - northern ireland ,then up came our wee man KING-- DAVID, David Healy and drove a fantastic ball into the top left corner of the net, the stadium erupts all you can see is a see of green and white and the noise, you could here it for miles.the ref blows for half time, and boy do we need a break down the stairs to the wee boys room along with what seened like 5 thousand others lol lol grab a tin of coke on the way back to our seats, the local crowd are still singing there hearts out Here we go the ref blows for the second half to start the crowd sing even louder giving the lads all the encouragement they could give,
dont get me wrong the sweds played good very good but on the night our boys shone through then King David caught a ball crossed from the right
turned and hit it low under the swedish goal keeper 2 / 1 to Northern Ireland ,you could have heard the roar in Spain ,"unbeleavable" then coming up to the 90 minutes, again the noise was wild, then the whistle =
it`s all over 2/1 to our wee team and both goals scored by David Healy.
This puts us TOP of our group then sweden and Spain remember that game my throat is still rough after last night but that is a small price for one hell of a game.
                  NORTHERN IRELAND 2 SWEDEN 1
Sorrry if you think I went on a dit to much

                  Ian

Hi Silke, I think thats a non starter because our boys wouldn,t be as skilful as the Irish so there wouldn,t be too many on the team, but we play as a team with hearts as big as lions which makes the difference,
just look at the Ulster rugby team for instance. It would be the same if
we had a U.K team. We just love being the underdogs.

                            Good evening Silke.
I agree with you, lets leave the politics to the politcians
and get on with life, they can try and get the country back on it`s feet while we enjoy the good life out here in Spain.
                            IAN
It seems like you started the politics, like most Northern Ireland people do.If I was proud of my country that much I would be living there.I left it 25 years ago and not even interest what the small minded people go on about.

Did you fall out the wrong side of the bed this morning ?
Wind you neck in. You are still living in the past, and you sound bitter, life goes on, and this wee country has went from strength to strenght
in the past few years and BOTH sides of the community are getting on better now than than when you left 25 years ago. it will take time to change but it WILL change and change for the better. We had our chance to right the wrongs and blew it now its up to the political family up in Stormont to get the country up and running for the sake of the young people that are growing up over here. Martin lifes to short to stagnate in the past, lets all move forward TOGETHER.

Well said Ian. You`ve echoed the sentiments of many thousands of people from N`orn Ireland, and I suspect you`re gonna get a bit if of stick, but ,then again, you knew that anyway. I`m in a mixed marriage myself and I`m saying no more except to say its time to move on. We can never right the wrongs of the past, but thank God there`s hope for the future.
