thanks for that im over next thursday for a week and i didnt want to be looking all over the place i,m just south of torre so i know carrefour and habernas will go there

Carrefour have a fairly good range, not overpriced. Bluesky is the cheap and cheerful brand - we have one of their portables. Had to exchange it as the first one didn't work. No problem though - or with the new one. We have bought a few electricals and white goods from Master Cadena ; there's one in Habaneras and one over by Mercadona near the football ground. Service and price have always been excellent in there. Both have good English speakers if you need them.

thank you Mattd just need a basic cheap one its only for a few weeks use per year will certainly check those places out

We got ours too from Master Cadenas in Haberneras centre on the lower ground floor. There's also Garcias just off the Crevillente Road near Carrefour.
