    Hi Sylvia
I live near where you are going to rent. There are plenty of areas to walk to. It is a short walk to Dona Pepa where there is a supermarket, shops, bars/restaurants, then you have the town of Quesada about ten minutes away where there are plenty of services, new large Consum and Lidl within walking distance and the area around Hotel Laguna. As for walking your dog, still plenty of open ground before the builders do their job, and there is always around the salt lakes. In my opinion one of the best beaches around at Guardamar is a ten minutes drive. If you need any more info please ask.
    Hope you enjoy it.
    Lori

hi polo mint read the post on expatfocus said you had to change to spanish plate after the 30 day period,if you are a non resident you are allowed the 90 day period or can be legal for 6 months.read nothing in the english papers costa balnca news about this.it looks like it could prove expensive to change.
