Broadband and Phone Call packages

Does anyone have any information on good deals on broadband internet access and cheap phone calls. Telefonica are costing me an arm and a leg at the moment so any advice would be very welcome! Also, is there such a thing as a price comparison website where I could get this information?

The best deal I have found is with Orange.You can get the full details from The Phone House in the Haberneros Centre next to Carrefour.The main advantage is you can cancel at anytime.They do not tie you into a 12/18 month contract.Plus you get 1000 mins per month free international calls and all Spanish calls for free.

36euros per month,plus tax,first three months free,plus to buy their modem 29euros.This gives you 1Mb.Also there is theTelefonica line rental,which depends on what deal you sign up for.Mine is 15.58euros per month.3Mb is an extra 3.90euros per month.Hope this helps.

I've been eyeing up the Orange mobile broadband deal from the UK and will look into this when I get to Torrevieja tomorrow. Basically, as a visitor I'm fed up with Telefonica's ripoff (Euro 800/year) for 'rural' ADSL and line rental which I don't use for 8 months of the year. I'd make outgoing calls via Skype and my laptop.
I'd be very interested to find out how you get on with Orange once you're connected. Could you let me know please.

Try Europa, a friend of ours has it, & is very happy with them. They can stop it when they go back to the UK for a few months.

In the next few months I will get it as well.

Unfortunatly I haven't their website too hand.

with telefonica you can stop the line for when you are going abroad too.
I belive that there is a limit of how many times a year, and a min of months.
At least they used to have that service.
Problem with orange (and with many other operators) is that you still need telefonicas line. which is an extra cost of 20 € including taxes.
