spanish school holidays?

hi, in july myself,husband and son(age 5) are coming over (to test the water,so to speak) and will be renting a property for 3-6 months,before cutting our ties in the uk.
however during this period i do wish to send my son to spanish state school,but belive it will be the spanish school holidays around this time?
could anyone tell me
what dates these (3 month) holidays are?

also as back in the uk my son legally has to attend school, im unsure at this point what my requirments regarding this subject will be in uk with our education system (as my son will remain a uk resident for the first 6 months)
so i would be gratefull if anyone can shed any light on the subject?

The approx 3 month school holiday runs from around the middle of June to the middle of September (roughly).

I think you may have to register a child for the new September term BEFORE they break up in June, although I could be wrong. You will need to be fluent in Spanish or take someone who is with you.

i will be visiting (for 2 weeks) in june.(hopefully to book our rental) maybe it would be worth trying to register my son at school then!? so when i do come out in july
he would be fixed up ready with a place to start in september.!?

only problem then would be that we would not be signed on the padron (yet) nor have our rental tenancy documents in place.
so maybe the school would not register him untill we had these!???
