DAB radio

In the process of deciding what items to bring with us to Spain when we relocate. Does anyone know if Spanish radio stations transmit for DAB radios?

In my experience Spanish radio stations dont even transmit in FM!!

Reception of English language stations is so poor that on a journey from Torrevieja to Alicante you will loose the signal.

It seems that the stations here are very localised and a Torre station is not available in Guadamar.

To answer the question I dont think DAB is available in Spain yet I jave never seen them in the electrical stores.

On this note why dont the TV providers here give a better selection of the Radio stations available ie Talksport or LBC?

Many thanks for the comprehensive reply. One less thing to worry about bringing.

I brought over a Digital radio hoping it would work but not a peep !! - no signal at all...To buy a DAB would be a complete waste but if you already have them, then you could use the FM band.

I find there quite a few English programmes transmitting on FM that are OK...
