anyone know the area conjunto macarena dona pepa quesada

we are renting a townhouse for 8 weeks,anyone know the area is it walking distance to shops bars etc.also is it a good area to live permantly

I have a friend who lives permanently in that area and she's very happy there. We walk to Quesada shops from her house and she tells me she has also walked to Consum (but then you can't carry much shopping back with you!).

renting a house for 8 weeks without knowing anything about the area is a bit risky IMHO!

If you haven't got transport you will feel very isolated, and reliant on taxis or long walks between shops and bars etc. except in the center of Quesada

thanks simmy for your post were told there were a few bars closeby,we do a lot of walking also we have transport

We lived in Dona Pepa for over three years, and we loved it there! One of the nicer areas around the Torrevieja region I thought! There are a few shops, bars, restaurants at the bottom end of the development near the Hotel La Laguna, and also shops, bars, restaurants, and a Gamma supermarket at the top end. Also not far away there is a Consum, and a Lidle supermarket, and the centre of Quesada is only a 20 minute walk away, so you will not be isolayed at all! Good luck!
