  • Nice places to visit

I have been coming to Torre for the last 4 years now, but have not really seen much of the Costa Blanca (usually spent in bars and an wielding a paint brush)except the odd trip to cartagena,Guadalest and the other big tourist traps like Benidorm and Alicante.
I will be spending 2 weeks there in July, and would like to see something of the real Spain, if such places still exist within a few hours drive of Torre that is.
any ideas as day driving round what is a lovely country without spending a fortune and ending up in a bar drinking John Smiths and eating burgers.

    cheers

    Phil

The trouble with sightseeing in July is that it's so bloody hot especially inland but if you must risk it get a good guide from your local library as what may interest me or someone else may not suite you

i think i what to see really is spain before it was beaten up by the developers.
i have looked online and in books for unspoilt spain, but but the developers seem to be faster than the printers these days, which is sad.
Dont get me wrong, i love spain even in its present built up form, but sometimes its just nice to escape to somewhere else that is untouched.

      cheers
