A Nice Beach?

We are coming out to Spain on 15th July, staying near Villa Martin. This will be our fourth trip to the area but we have only been the La Zenia beach.

Can anyone tell me of the other beaches nearby and general directions please.

We are spoilt for choice in this area.

There is Playa Flamenca , Naufragos as you approach the Salt Peir as you head into Torrevieja. If you want to travel a bit further you can go to La Mata but one of the better ones in respect of Parking right next to the Beach is at Torre de la Horadada. Head south on the N332 and when you come to the roundabout at Carrefour Express head left towards the sea.

There is ample parking and a fabulous Beach.

Beaches

Take the next roundabout after La Zenia and you will find Cabot Roig beach. Just further on is another excellent beach with all the facilities at Capoamor . Just take the next exit, over N332 turn right and follow the coast road down. Big car park area. Again further on to next but one roundabout and you will find another long beach with many bars cafes and toilets with plenty of car parking at Mil Palmeras.

Go into Playa Flamenca town hall to the tourist office get a free map of the area ask for a glossy one it shows all the nearest beaches to you.

If you've got a car venture further afield,

to the North:

Guardamar (plus excellent market on Wednesday)
La Marina

to the South:

Los Alcazares (Mar Menor)
El Mojon (between Pillar del la Horadada and San Pedro)
Mil Palmeras
