  • Telemicro TV Channel Changes

    Hello,

I am currently in UK but have read various comments re changes to the channels offered on the telemicro system. We have this system in our place in Torre and are coming out for a holiday soon. Please could someone tell us what channels have been removed and what have they been replaced by? Also does anyone know if there is now an option to take a lower monthly subscription that would allow us to watch the usual terrestrial channels? We are currently on the deal that you pay 180 cash for a yr in advance.

    Many thanks!

Instead of TCM we now have MGM which is very similar and the other 2 new movie channels are Xtreme and Cinestar now the problem with Cinestar is that they sometimes show non English movies ie all week they have shown Japanese movies without any subtitles. We have another new programme called calle 13 that takes the place of discovery real time which is now shown on channel 25 but only until lunchtime when Film 4 takes over. The Sci Fi channel has also changed in the fact that it is the Spanish version but dont worry the programmes are mostly in English but as with all the other changed programmes I have mentioned, the adverts etc are all in Spanish. I think now I am getting used to these changes that they are quite good programmes, but have been told by an installer that anything people arent happy with they must complain to Telmicro as they will listen and change if they can if enough people have the same complaints apparently that is why they changed the Sky movies in the first place. As to the cheaper package I really dont know if they still do that one you would have to phone the office on 609 626 995. Anyway I think thats all I hope that helps.
