Taking Dog from Dublin to Alicante

Hi read the topic about taking dogs from Britain to Spain via the Channel Tunnel and France. I live in Dublin and have just found out that our national airline Aer Lingus does not carry animals to Europe, only the USA. Are there any Irish people out there that travel to Spain with their dog? How do you manage to get your dog to and from Alicante.

Aer Lingus recommended freight carrier services and they do bring dogs to Spain but don't do a return trip! I travel on my own so am looking for a straight forward route for the dogs and myself and not at crazy prices! Can anyone advise please?

Hi no I don't have any belongings being moved. I travel to our apartment twice or three times a year and stay for maybe 2 months at a time. I'd like to bring out one or both of my dogs with me rather than leave them with family.

I'm just looking for an affordable way to holiday from Dublin to Alicante with my dogs ..... hoping for a solution???

I'm brand new to this forum so could you point me to the post - which forum; what page? - about taking dogs to Spain from the UK cos I'm in the process of buying a flat in Torreviega and would love to be able to take my wonderful female Lab (I'm not allowed to use the b--ch word on this site!) there with me rather than trying to find someone to look after her or putting her in boarding. I'm not that fussed about flying either, not that I'm scared of it but no smoking and all the waiting time spent at airports. I'd rather take trains if possible, though than drive all the way from Edinburgh on my own.
