Go to get NIE on Tuesday (hopefully) and complete Thursday.

Note U mention your place is a private resale.
Hope your using a spanish lawyer or you could end up having problems.
When I bought my place all the estate agent we used did was to set us up with a lawyer in Torry. After that it was plain sailing.
The laywer assisted with bank account, electicity, water the lot. Everything including sorting out our NIE numbers was in his fees.
His guy took us and another couple through to Orehuela to submit the forms. Only thing there is we didn't get the numbers the same day.
I was in our house for 10 months before getting the actual NIE number.
