All the beaches are safe as long as you follow the instructions. My 2 boys have been lifeguards on the beaches this summer and they say that people are careless, denying the instructions of the guards.
As for the people who are drowned this summer: most of the people did out of the hours of the surveillance and the other ones because they swam when the red flag was on!!!
During their working hours they have saved a lot of other people as well!
So I advice everybody to follow the regulations on the beaches. Then you have the lesser chance to drown.
I am very proud to be the mother of 2 responsable boys!

I must endorse what Jaritex says I have been amazed to see people ignoring the red flags. I think we should have a law forbidding the attempt at rescue of these idiots. On more than one occasion this summer the ones that have attempted the rescue have ended up drowned

thanks for your reply its just when you hear of so many people that have drowned you feel so unsafe in the water. and thanks to your boys for doing such a good job.
