Names of beaches

Hi
Can anyone tell me the names of the beaches nearest to Calle San Julian? There is one at the bottom of the street but it doesn't look too impressive from the photo I have of it.

Well, having been there, I wouldn't call it exactly at the bottom of the street - it is ... plus a good walk to your right and then down a side street on the left! It's Playa Acequion or something like that and I have to say the sea there is VERY safe for young children - it's all very shallow.

Next Door To Playa Acequion you have Playa Los Naufragos. A lovely beach in the summer they had a iceberg and a trampoline in the sea. Nice small promenade as well. There are some very nice restaurants in the area as well my favourite being Out of Afrika. Also some very good restaurants on the beach

Thanks for this info Fudgey but now that I'm buying at the other end - at La Mata - I'll need to suss out the facilities there! I may, of course, take the bus into Torrevieja if I'm bored or for a change!
