I have a bank account with the Halifax in Torrevieja but at present I am in England. I have tried a number of times to access my account online but have had no Joy! Could anyone guide me through the process or offer any advice. I really need to keep a close eye on what is going out and being in England it is difficult. The Halifax seem to have a habit of stoping direct debits for no reason ! Has anyone else had similar problems?

Hi David, open the Halifax online banking web page. Enter your user name and then enter your PIN number, (you should have received these when you set up your online account) this will get you into your account.
If you have not set up remote banking, contact Banko Halifax Espania on 00 34 902 310 100 they speak good English and are very helpful.

Re cancelled direct debits,YES...our Iberdrola DD was cancelled & the electricity was cut off,this was after repeated visits to the Playa Flamenca office to make sure it wouldn't happen.Not impressed.
