temperature/clothes needed

hi, we will be flying out on Sunday 28th and have no idea what clothes to bring, have checked on ten day weather forecast (which changes its mind by the day!) and it is showing rain/showers, do we need jeans etc. or are you lucky people still able to get away with shorts and t shirts? It is freezing here at the moment although sun shining and I just haven't a clue what to pack, are people still using their swimming pols etc? many thanks, Yvonne

HI Its is raining here at the moment a bit on the chilly side as well. Forecast for the weekend is not to good either. Think you should bring a couple pairs shorts and a couple pairs trousers and light jumpers just in case.

thanks fudgey, difficult to know when bringing kids as well, are the pools usable or too cold? please say yes or they will drive me mad for 9 days! thanks again, yvonne

Most swimming pools are closed from 1 October to 1 May. Suggest you remember to take a brolly.

ahh well cant have everything in life! the pool is our own so we may just have to throw the kids in anyway! dont worry if you hear lots of screams ! thanks yvonne

I am a wimp been here 4 1/2 years so feel the cold now. Sitting here in Jeans and top be going out soon with a fleece on Too Cold for the pool

i am also a wimp, you wont find me anywhere near cold pool water, lucky if i go in in july! but kids are bringing friends with them for first time and have been spouting about the pool so they will have to grin and bare it !

A couple of teenage lads went in our community pool yesterday......they screamed like girls
someone else with their own smaller pool said it was not too bad once you were in, the kids will be hardier than the rest of us
