Window Shutter Cords

Several of my window shutter cords have started to fray - can anyone advise - is this an easy DIY fix or do we need to get someone in to replace them (hopefully with better quality than the ones the builder put in as they only lasted a year)

You can get replacements cords at the local hardward shop, My OH does ours when they snap. Think they are easy to do.

Thats right OH = Other Half makes life easier or should that be too lazy to type it out fully

Thanks Charlie - will do, if I can get off San Jose even better, although we (my parents who are out lots and like little jobs to keep them out of mischief) have ended up doing fixes themselves with San Jose supplying the paint / wood etc
