Christmas and New Year

We are staying in Aguas Nuevas, Torrevieja from 22nd Dec to 6th Jan and would very much appreciate ideas on things to do,places to visit, places to eat. Both on a night and during the day. I realise that the weather will not make it a beach holiday, so we are open to suggestions. We have use of a car.

for shopping i recomed las habaneras shopping centre about 5-10 mins from torrevieja town.also the market is very good with great bargains.
