Dogs on Beaches

So what's the law regarding dogs on beaches?
Are there any beaches where dogs can have a swim?

Don't know the law, but read somewhere that dogs are allowed near the nudist beach at La Zenia, perhaps someone else will give details. I know when we were on holiday a couple of years ago there was a little bit where ours was allowed on the rocky bit near Los Locos - she was happy to have anywhere to swim!!
