Can anyone give me any information on carers, home helps or nursing homes?
My mother who has been a resident of Torreveijca for many years has been suddenly taken very ill. I live in the Uk and my brother lives elsewhere in Europe at present are taking it in turns to visit to care for her, but as both of us have work and family committments, this on an ongoing basis is impossible. Unfortunately it looks as though this may be a long term situation and until she is fit and well enough to come to the UK we need to explore as many options as possible

Hello Chrisson, I am 90% sure there is a nursing home beside the golf course in Quesada.
If you drive along the road from the driving range towards La Perla Roca Restaurant, keeping the golf course on your left, the nursing home is about half way betwen the range and restaurant on your right.
The building over the word 'Calle deZeus' on the map is where I think it is.
Somebody else might be able to confirm or dismiss this.

There is a home help service running in the area, If you do a search for help Torrevieja or help the aged Torrevieja they may have mor edetails,
I will also check on monday for you as one of the parents is a qualified nurse and offers this tyop of service, I will get her number for you.
