Apart from the blue rocket can anybody tell us where to find a good builders merchant? We need to buy a decent pick and shovel.
Also need a reliable, reasonable builder for pool and garden construction.

Outside La Marina you have one very close to the gas staion as you drive into la marina from the N332. (cant remember the name)

Keaki (B&Q type store) between Aquopolis and Cortes Valenciana sells picks and shovels. Terra Pilar at the needle roundabout on Cortes Valencianas is another Builders merchants and there is also Preyser near the old windmill, although they don't sell pick and shovels.

Also any reasonably sized hardware shop will sell them. Suggest you only employ a qualified pool company with good references - if you use a cheap one who does not know what they are doing be prepared for problems later. The project will need planning permission from your local town hall.
