What number are you buying we are no 35 phase 1. We were out there 2nd feb for three days went on site alot has been done . The paths and some of the roads were done and they were planting trees . They had also started up by the commercial centre. We are going back over 5th march for three days to get our nie numbers sorted, We are from Bristol where are you?

Thanks for the reply. Its great to hear builds are well underway.We're at 48 on phase 1. At the moment living in the cold north of england.

we managed to get better plans of whole urb last time so we can see exactly where everything will be. Are you taking the furniture package you have been offered only we have checked it out and not happy. we are trying to get reduction from builder so we can buy elsewhere. Any info you can pass on would be much appreciated .

hello sunman & mejulie, my parents live in villamartin and have just bought a place on phase 2, plot 50, with a completion date of feb 2006.Would i be right in saying that the building work is behind schedule or do you beleive it is running on time.Do you expect to move in may 2005 or just complete.On phase 1 they have not even started on the half a dozen big houses at the end.
On a separate issue did you manage to get the builder to reduce the declared value of the property (standard spanish tradition ), so that you pay less tax.A good telephone number for you both is 639638476, which is Chari Solano Lopez(manager), she seems to know most about Colinas Zenia Elite site.

Can't answer your question re schedule.We are going out end March so will have more idea then. As for larger builds on phase 1 not yet started, when we bought in early Dec a number of the larger detached were not sold, could it be they will not start until a sale takes place? or are there other reasons? In Dec the earliest completion date given for phase 2 was Nov/Dec 05.
We were quoted April/May completion for phase 1, which judging from all I've read about Spanish building punctuality is probably very optimsic, but there's no use worrying it will be ready some time (I hope)!

As for the declared value, I've read every thread over the past couple of months with the conclusion there's no perfect answer.

hi sunman or mejulie, have you got any further knowing your completion dates as i still visit the sight on a regular basis and still find it hard too believe it will complete (phase 1) by summer?

We were out for a few days last week and I agree that progress seems very slow on phase 1.

"Mejulie" had sent me some pics from her visit in Feb and in the 7/8 weeks since little appeared to have changed.

What was even more annoying was the fact that when we bought we were told completion on phase 1 would be approx May with phase 2 available Oct/Nov, we therefore opted for phase 1. Many of the houses on phase 2 are at a more advanced stage than those on phase 1 and I presume will be completed before some of those on phase 1.

The developer will not give me a completion date. If you, or anyone else out there buying on this urb' hear anything I would really appreciate an update.

dear cathM, thankyou but i allready have their Website.Sunman, i believe i know which house is yours(colinas 2/3 bedroom house), which they have been working on last week, but still require roof?If it is the one i will try to keep you updated as much as i can.I must admit it does seem strange that phase 1is behind phase 2 as regards schedule, but on a positive note when they get going they are pretty quick.

I really appreciate your offer. We are in the block of 3 bed colinas next to the "triana" flats at the Via Park end of the phase.

I hope I didn't mislead you re phase 2, all I was trying to say was that some of the houses on phase 2 were nearer to completion than many on phase 1.

hi sunman, i went down there today. There was 3 people working on your house today (no 4, they were finishing the upstairs bedroom ceiling, so hopefully they will be putting your roof on within the next 10 days.
