Can anyone tell me regarding the bus services that run past Playa Flamenca on the N332.
I have a timetable but I think I have only ever seen a couple of buses on this road.
I have seen several bus stops quite far apart.
Can you stop the bus at any location on the road or only at the bus stops.
Also is there a bus stop near the Champion supermarket near the go-karts on the N332 for both directions.
What about the cost of a bus ticket. Would it be almost as cheap getting a taxi if 4 adults are travelling from Playa Flamenca to Torre or is there a considerable saving with the bus.

The company is called Costa Azul. I believe they have a website. Not sure if I'm allowed to post it here though.

          Thanks r2d2 and beastess.
Have read the costa azul timetable, and if i've read correctly there only appears to be a bus every couple of hours which surprises me bearing in mind the ever increasing population south of torre.
Does the timetable change in the summer season?

              Airport

              Beastess

When you say airport bus? Is there a bus that runs from Alicante / Murcia to the Playa Flamenca area. I thought they only went from Airport into Alicante / Benidorm.

No you have to bus into ALicante first, unfortunately then catch the Costa Azul bus from the bus station. You will save money doing it that way but not hassle!
Or from Murcia you would have to take a short taxi ride to San Javier to pick up the Costa Azul bus from the town centre.

                  free bus fares

I assume you all know that if you own property in Spain you can apply for 'free' bus fares. You don't have to be a pensioner

Beastess is right. You have to be registered on the Padron in Torrevieja to take advantage of the free passes, and as anyone who has a holiday home in Torrevieja will tell you, that is a whole new set of hoops to jump through!

The main change to the timetable of Costa Azul in summer is the buses run anything up to an hour late! The early buses are not too bad but they get worse and worse through the day.
