Local Transport

I was wandering if there are buses from areas like La Zenia, Playa Flamenca, Las Calas or Los Altos into the town centre?
Or is it even possible to walk from those areas into the town centre?

Are they handy for tourists to use?

Its because there are too many people for a taxi and therefore means we would need two taxi's or walk it, just to go into the town centre.

Would be grateful if you could help me out with any information at all,

Theres a bus every 30 minutes from los altos to torrevieja, you can get on at los altos centro for a grand cost of 1.10 euros

There is a bus that stops at all the places mentioned on the 332 into Torrevieja and back

Would there be buses then from Torrevieja centre or even any of the resisdential areas to Habeneras and Aquopolis?

Yes there is a bus to the Habaneras. When you arrive at the Torrevieja bus station, check the timetable and look for route B, this goes to the Habanaeras etc

Might be of interest to you that the buses run to Alicante and Catnagena on the 332. Plenty of interesting places to get off in between these great cities.

There is a train service from Alicante to Terra mitica.
I think there is an agent in Torrevieja that offers excursion etc called SAGA travel.
cant remeber where they have the office.

If you buy your tickets for Terramittica at the tourist information office in Benidorm instead of the park or any other ticket agent you can save arround 60% per person. When theres a lot of you that is a fair bit of cash.

Yeah that would be a great saving, must try to do that.

But we would be heading from Torrevieja so we would have to get off at Benidorm itself then travel to Terra Mitica.
Do you think the same tickets would be available in a Tourist Office in Torrevieja?

You can always try. Good possibility that they would be since its the Valencian community.
Otherwise you will have to take a bus into Benidorm and then back to Terra Mitica. might still be worth it if you can save that much though.
