Are there any rescue centre for Cats

We are staying in our own property in Playa Flamenca but returning to England at the end of the month. We found a lovely little black kitten, which we are caring for while here.

Does anyone know of a rescue centre who may be able to look after it or find it a home.

Check out the freebie papers such as coastrider and The Leader out tomorrow. I know Joe the cat man advertises in one of these papers.

When I found a stray kitten I couldn't get any response from the various 'Cat people' so I called our local vet who said they would take it in and try to find it a home, they also said if they didn't find it a home within 2 weeks they would put it to sleep, I know that's not very nice but it's better than letting it stray and have more kittens. Sorry if that seems harsh but it's another solution.

The local animal copntrol centres are obliged to admit animals. But many of those centres, allthough they have dedicated staff, lacks funding and alot of times they are volunteers. So they simply cant care for all the animals.
giving it to a vet might be a better option rather then placing them in a jail.
