completion dates

Is anybody buying a Sara triana 111 in Benijofar? Completion date was dec04, but the builder hasn`t even started putting the foundations in yet. We cannot get a new completion date from the company we have bought from and we are getting extremley worried about this.

Hi Chezwade,If you think you have a reason to suspect that somethings not quite right then the truth is ITS PROBABLY NOT.Dont know if you,ve viewed page 14 developer running over. Its a different development but the problem of not getting any answers are the same.Dont know who you,ve bought with but from my experience and lots of others push,demand,dont let them fob you off.We did for too long and are still waiting to be offered alternatives(hopefully end of mar).GOOD LUCK.

We are buying from atlas, who have now told us our builder only has villas left so they can`t offer us an alternitive. Even if we pull out through no fault of our own they will still keep the first 10% deposit.

I would suggest that you seek legal advice on the possibilities of suing the builder and/or Atlas. If your current solicitor is one that Atlas have introduced you to (and therefore NOT independent), get a different solicitor who is unconnected to either the builder or the agent.

Hi Chezwade, when you say the builder has only got villas left is this just in the area that you want or all over cos there are quite a few people like myself that have been told because of the problems at los balcones we will be offered same properties on the builders different developments? We bought oct03 for mar/apr 05 completion which as you know is'nt going to happen.

Apparently our builder does not have any sara on any developments. We have said we will go to the media but this doesn`t seem to be having any affect. Next step is to put it in writing to the MDand see if he takes any notice this time.
