Does anyone know of a good cheap Dentist in Torrevieja, i phoned one and they wanted 100-150 euros to extract a tooth, luckily i took a coarse of broad spectrum anti-biotic and that cleared up the infection. Back in Britain its around £15 to have a tooth out, were do they get their prices from?

If you really want cheap, try a pair of pliers. Think the dentist here are pretty competitive and of course it's all private, perhaps that's why you thought it expensive.

100-150 euros for a tooth extraction is pretty competitive? Which planet did you come from. My son has just had a tooth taken out in Britain and it cost him £15 and he works so has to go private

My partner was a dentist Surgeon before we took early retirement, but I know the price in the UK is now £91 for a tooth extraction, if you go Private, NHS not applicable.
Note that dental fees can vary widely, and just because a dentists price is high doesn't necessarily mean you are being ripped off, you might well be getting very high quality dental work. Like wise a very cheap dentist may still be providing high quality dental care, but at a lower price. Preventative dentistry is better than cure, both in terms of how hard it hits your wallet and how much it hurts!
