Fireworks.....

I lived in Torrevieja last year and there was a awesome fireworks display one night. It was on the promonade in the two bits that are by the smaller beaches, it started at midnight and the promonade was packed!! My question is, anyone know what it was in aid of and if they'll be one this year?

Its on the 23 june plus bonfires on the beaches. St Johns night. Always a great fireworks at midnight..
