Can anyone recommend a reputable company who do buildings and contents insurance? Preferably one you have had to make a claim with, after all, the proof of the pudding..................
I also need a good contact for car insurance.

Give Miguel a ring on oo34 966784736 of Mapfre, he speaks good English and is very helpfull. Information from preveious posts is that they settle claims quickly. My wife and I got a very good quote for our house.

I have had my property and contents insured with MAPFRE for about 4 years and they are fine. Two of my friends have made claims against their policies and had no trouble with them. I know that they have English speaking staff both in the local office in Torrevieja and in Madrid.
