Loss of English speaking TV channels?

The situation with the loss of certain TV channels in Spain is confusing when you get mixed messages sent back to England. I am aware that the sky channels have gone BUT some people are suggesting that most of the other English speaking channels have also gone!!!
If this is the case what is the best way forward, I am over in August but would really like to know the latest situation NOW! My villa is in the aguas nuevas area of Torrevieja but the details of who provides my TV service is over in Spain

Loss of English TV

We did loose all the Sky channels plus lots of others and it was playing around for about a month, but its all back and seems to have settled down now. Some channels have changed but Sky sports is back along with a lot of others. Have a look at previous post re Telemicro, you will find out a lot on those. Apparently we are getting 1 month free because of the inconvenience and as a goodwill gesture.
