Nowhere to add avatars, see your "User CP" at top far left, choose "edit avatar". Circle has a dot in it & you can't change that.

Thanks Orangegrove, I did get that far but thought the reason I couldn't remove the dot was because I was doing something wrong.

I think that they are not allowed as this is a serious discussion forum and the use of avatars would distract from this.
