This amusing little piece of verse appeared in a recent edition of the Coastrider newspaper. Penned by Porfirio Rubirosa, Spanish, it is in English and represents a wonderful comment albeit of the English rather than British.

Delete the word Brits/British for English and Union Jack for St George's flag and I could not agree more. But then, I am a Scotsman !

I don't think that the Scots, Welsh and Irish are without their fair share of such people either, it is just that the English are easily the biggest group. But the poem is great, and sums up exactly what I have been saying. Unfortunately, the morons like stevethepainter and the like are so badly educated that they just cannot see or care about how awful they look to the more intelligent and decent people. I don't think we should attribute low IQ to someone simply because we disagree with them. Perhaps we even agree, just have different ways of expressing it; or maybe have given it less thought due to other doings in our lives.

I am stating what I think will happen. I do not agree with the expansion of the public sector and increased taxation, I do not agree with the current copyright laws - but I don't intend to loose a penny nor spend any day in prison for breaking them. Actually - I like the Wild West a bit. And I look forward to in 50 years time telling my grandchildren how it was to live back now. Not gunmen, much better stories:

• Polish builders and painters proudly displaying their hard won 30 euro Rolex copy (that took them a days work to make).
• Romanian prostitutes working the roundabouts offering a wide variety of sexual diseases.
• Young Chinese and Vietnamese girls selling silver plates with porn and films.
• Pub owners arranging betting while selling drinks under the table to a 200% margin.
• Corruption and shoot outs.
• Religious fanatics basing their life of the Gospel of Football.
• Young girl thinking that monogamy is some sort of blasphemy.
• Muslims blowing themselves to pieces for others lack of respect for stone age values.
• A monetary system without any value.
• etc, etc, etc.

I will probably be able to bore them for days, weeks, even years!

So here we have a supposed pillar of the community, who prides himself on being a law abiding citizen and is a "Retired employee of law enforcement agencies", but is quite willing to commit to writing libelous remarks without substance or evidence.......................


Well for starters Mr MJC you will be reported to the site owners for making libelous comments on a public forum. I will further be taking the matter up with my lawyers.

And dont think that for one minute you can remain anonymous behind your keyboard. The site software will record the IP address of all posters on here for future reference, just in case someting like this occurs. Oh and in case you decide to delete your post, it has been saved on my computer for evidence.

May I suggest you read what I say more carefully. Nowhere do I say it is only the brits breaking the law. My point is that just because someone else is breaking the law does not give you the right to do so. We would still be living in the jungle if that were the case.

As it happens, the swedes have a different arrangement with spain and it is perfectly possible to maintain swedish plates without being illegal. I am sure there are illegal german and french cars here - lets get rid of them too.

But my concern is the thousand's of brits here making nuisances of themselves, working and driving illegally, drunk and disorderly etc. The statistics bear me out - only this week it has been reported in the press that the Embassy has announced that these offences are up 30%. And the figures are higher in proportion to any other nationality.

How many of the british builders, painters, taxi drivers are working without being registered, not paying the social and income taxes and taking work away from legitimate people who are paying? Thankfully a lot are going home because they can't get work anyway now the economy is so bad.

I have no intention of being driven away by these people. I love it here, and thankfully live in a fairly up market location where that type of brit is not a problem. I do feel sorry for decent people I know living in some of the Torrevieja urbanizations where they have to put up with all the bad behaviour we brits are famous for on a daily basis.

And I will continue to express my opinions against wonton law breaking and unsociable behaviour by whomsoever, and I know that all the decent intelligent people on this forum agree with me 100%.

I wonder if his 'lawyer' might be interested in that ? As for the poem, its source is attributed fully and hence complies with copyright law. Ask your lawyer about that as well if you like. I hope your lawyer is working with Crane, Pool & Smith in Boston Legal and is not some rich and prosperous Spanish person living well from your many failed lawsuits against pseudonymous forum posters, restaurant guests, motorists and others, who step on your toes by making use of their right to free speech, by making general assumptions and remarks about you or subjects you may disagree upon and that you have not provided any evidence to contradict, while you bravely state self justification for regarding Spanish law as irrelevant as long as you don't get caught or use fraudulent methods and lies in order to fool law enforcement officers into at certain points prioritizing investigating more immediate and easier recognizable offences. As mentioned in a previous post i have lived in a few expat communities, this has been through my work life, Saudi Arabia, Australia, Singapore, Dubai and more recently Argentina, allways in a british expat community you seem to find these biggoted racists idiots, without someone or something to look down at they simply cannot function without it, its is something i have allways hated, as soon as i read the original post which started this thread i just knew heres another one of them, the storyteller who makes up crappy little yarns to feed his own habit, to try and impress his fellow philestines.
Anyone with half an ounce of sense knows that this person has heard a rumuor and then decided to put himself right in the middle of the story, Just because someone cannot pay a roadside fine DOES NOT mean that your car will be lifted and crushed, the only reasons for the Guards lifting your vehicle are,
1, No insurance documents,
2, Failure of breath test,
3, Officer suspects the vehicle may be stolen
4, Vehicle is on national data base for vehicles suspected of being used in a crime
5,Vehicle involved in an accident and is immobilised,
6, Vehicle involved in life threating or fatal accident,
there are a couple more reasons your vehicle can be impounded but its never for the inability to pay a roadside fine.
If you are asked to pay a roadside fine and you feel you have not commited any offence then elect to pay at your local post office and then if you are sure you have done nothing wrong appeal against the officers decision.

Right then, back to degrees, some of you have 27 some have 3, i have 2 that took years of study, from old school o levels to sixth form and college a levels and then a long spell at De Montford in Leicester, so dont make out i am some uneducated idiot.

I used to work with a lot of people banged up at Her Majesty's pleasure with degrees Steve-the Painter. I have dealt with little people like you and your scams all my working life. Justice does come eventually, I can assure you.

Thanks for the information regarding the booking form scam though. At a recent Vecino Colloaborando meeting attended by the Policia Local, they expressed concern that a large number of GB plated vehicles were being used in the commission of crime and that their owners could not be traced even if registered numbers were taken down.

Tonight I have prepared an email and sent it through the system for the attention of the VC contact at the Policia Local as well as to the Policia Judicial contact at the Guardia Civil.

I am sure they will be delighted to brief their officers and those of Traffico with this information who can then impound the vehicle and make the necessary enquiries to establish the voracity of the information.

Just post any more of your scams here and I shall be delighted to pass them on the the appropriate authorities and indeed the press.

I had the honour of spending a couple of months in Glasgow some time ago, i think the heart attacks must come from deep fried pizzas and mars bars, drugs seemed to be a big problem especially temezapam ? i think thats the correct name, but all in all i had a bloody good time.
