hi emma new today myself and sent a thread to wrong person sorry well spoke to them in my area today they say back first week of sept but dont hold your breath we have changed ours back to spanish tv via box in your property or telemicro charging 25 euro in my area to do this cheek really as they have taken monthly payment this month for nothing and then 25 euro to change back if they do come back of course

How do you turn it the box over to the spanish tv?

If you have a communal aerial feed to our property, (Spanish TV) you simply reconnect it through to the back of your TV and plug it in direct....

But you couldn't do that in Sweden after you had taken out charges/made arrests, could you? Even issued warrants would be a matter of public record. I thought the Police State was something we tried to avoid.

If you read the spanish papers you will see it has been all over the papers AND for tax evasion. Paper Informacion, Issue dated 16th Agosto, page c3
Bear in mind that alot of the Brit papers here are taking money from Telmicro installers etc.

Care to post a link or the relevant passage on page c3?

The only reference I could find to anything printed in that paper was their reporting of cash being removed from Telmicro's offices - nothing about them being prosecuted for tax evasion.

And an unsubstantiated, unquoted, claim from one regional newspaper hardly qualifies as 'all over' the Spanish Press.

That's my point. They keep the 'investigation' secret - not the prosecution once it has been deemed valid. Which means that they have still to determine if any offence has been committed.

Without any other comparison it sounds like what most of us found very strange in the Madeleine case in Portugal. It is different than the Norwegian system where the protection of the rights of the charged is invoked upon the first use of involuntary means (like detaining suspects, search warrants etc).

In any case this is not something that puts any ones life and health at risk, so unless there was a huge flight risk the charged (as I understand that these are) would never be held in prison before sentenced.

They are policemen - not public prosecutors.

They are as likely to be led astray by rumour and incomplete information as anyone.

I think it is more likely that they would say they can't tell me anything because an investigation is underway - particularly if the ongoing investigation has been ordered to remain 'secret' by the Court.

I'd say it's a good bet that if it was out of the secrecy phase, and a prosecution has been deemed valid, it would be all over EVERY Spanish media outlet EVERY day.

Thank you for posting the links if/when you find them. For future reference, when claiming something to be 'fact', it saves a lot of time if you post the substantiating evidence at the time.

After all, it isn't very realistic to expect anyone to accept as irrefutable fact claims made in a public chatroom because the author cites the spouse of a family member as the origin.

can anyone answer my problem, we live in a down stairs property with another above, the owner of the property above informed me (don´t laugh, this is true) that his lodgers brain was being fryed by the satellite ariel (the arial was situated on a pole 2 inches from the wall and 5 inches above our property).. And if it was not taken down he would get the police, so we dropped the ariel. However, thinking about it now, as we may have to get a ne ariel or dish I´m sure with the freedom of reception he may not be able to restrict transmission and must give access to tv reception possibly using his pole on his roof if not disturbing others under the european direcive and allow what ever means is needed to receive signal ,many thanks

Telmicro Levante have all the relevant licenses and legal permits in order to broadcast and operate.


The closing of the broadcast has nothing to do with Telmicro Levante being prohibited to broadcast, however all the relevant technical material is being looked at.


Telmicro Levante promises all its clients to restart broadcast and business as soon as possible.


Telmicro Levante is aware of the fact that these proceedings take time, and asks its customers for their patience to allow for the investigation to finalise.


We would also like to reassure that obviously no customers will be charged and no bills will be sent during this time and until further notice.


Since all the Court proceedings have been declared secret, it is not allowed to obtain any detailed information, and it is against the law for anyone to communicate any information regarding the ongoing investigation.


Telmicro Levante expresses our support to the Courts and Justice system of Spain, and our firm belief in that the matters will eventually be solved so that our customers can again enjoy a very best quality TV service.

Ok - straight from the horses mouth - one of the owner's is looking at 10 years. Part of the bail conditions of the others is that nothing to do with Telmicro can be touched etc. So I doubt very much they will be back on air.
