Last night in Quesada I picked up a leaflet which apparently were being distributed to all the bars and restaurants. As follows
THE LATEST NEWS REGARDING TELMICRO BROADCASTING
WHAT IS HAPPENING TO TELMICRO?
This situation has arisen due to the company transmitting certain channels for the benefit of its clients.
WHEN WILL THE BROADCASTING SERVICE RESUME?
Telmicro have already started, clients on the Los Montesinos transmitter have been receiving some channels since last Saturday. It is Telmicros intentions to be broadcasting to as many of their clients as possible by the end of the week.
WHAT CHANNELS WILL TELMICRO BE TRANSMITTING NOW?
Telmicro have been given permission to restart broadcasting. To begin with it is a restricted service compromising of channels that the company has contracted to retransmit. These channels, which Telmicro’s clients have got to know very well over the last year such as MGM, Cinestar, Xtrm Film Channels, Sci-Fi, Calle 13, Fox, National Geographic, etc. In edition Telmicro will be showing some of the terrestrial programs.
WILL TELMICRO BE GETTING MORE CHANNELS?
Yes, Telmicro are working hard now to contract even more channels that will appeal to their clients.
WILL THE CUSTOMERS BE CHARGED FOR THE SERVICE?
No, Telmicro will not make any charges to their customers for a month after the service has been resumed in their area. The second month will be half price and thereafter the monthly charges will be at a reduced rate.

When I got home, low and behold I had more channels than I did the day before. I really like Caso Abierto on FOX so I very happy last night. I am glad I did not make a rash decision and take out a new subscription with another comapny. Will definitely wait it out especially as we are getting free month (so we should) half price month and then reduced rate.
