Ok first of all let me say Hi!
I currently run my own satellite and aerial company in the uk, I have 20 years experience in fitting systems both residential and commercial.

I was in Torrevieja early September and I am well aware of the TELMICRO situation, however I happened to notice in the Carrefour they were advertising a system on 43cm dishes.(unfortunately I was running late for my flight and didn't have enough time to investigate)
Firstly can someone tell me what satellite this is transmitting from, and what the deal actually includes.

I am looking to come over to Torrevieja VERY soon and I would be happy to install and help any of you out for a reasonable price!

I am not a cowboy, like I say I have 20 years behind me.
I am happy to sub contract to any of you out there that are in need of a rigger.

Hi Pete, I've installed a few systems (personal for myself and friends in the UK). I have just installed a Freesat system at my home with a 1.8 Famaval dish on a Humax receiver. What sort of help do you need ? What are you trying to receive, Astra II ?

Hi Katie, with a 80cm dish, you'll not get BBC/ITV but may get Sky News and some other free to air channels, of which there are many. I am not familiar with the Metronic Twin Box, do you have the manual ? Most modern boxes self install anyway.

I'm more than willing to give you a hand. I have an inclinometer, compass and small satellite locating box. You can give me what you like......

Hi again, Steve. Many thanks for your advice and help. Without your knowledge and specialist equipment we would never have got a signal. Obviously we will need to get a bigger dish in the future, so expect a further call then. Thank you again.
