Have a read of the article in today's coastrider newspaper. The animal charities here on the Costa Blanca are over flowing with the increasing amount of dogs who's owners have returned to the UK not wanting/unable to take thier dogs with them.

I suggest you do everything you can to take your beloved pet with you. Please

it is not my intention to dump my dog, i object to you even thinking of this, if we cannot take the dog i will foster it out, in fact if your that concerned why dont you take up the option of fostering till next june

I wasn't suggesting that you were about to abandon your dog.
I was just stating that if at all possible take it with you, so others here who are able to foster a dog can foster one of the many dogs rescue centres, as I do.

It doesn't take anywhere near 600 hours to get to the UK, its normally about 16 and you can do it in intervals, 6 hours every day and have stopovers in hotels that take dogs too. Lots of places to stop off during the days driving to give you all a break, that would solve all your problems.

Why not drive back, it took us 19hours driving time to Calais at Xmas taking it steady. You can stay in a F1 for about €30 per couple and dog about €26 for crossing by ferry if you book in advance and travel non peak time. Cheaper than car transporter plus flights.
