Playa Flamenca School

I was wondering if anyone reading this has children at the Playa Flamenca school (Secondary)?
The reason i am asking is that i have had many problems with trying to get exam results from September. My son attended the exams on 1st and 2nd of September after spending the summer doing course work (yes i know if he had done it during term time etc etc...) And paying for an acadamy to help with the revision. We went to enrol for this year (What a fiasco that was, standing with other parents for over 3 hours) and asked for a copy of the results. The results sheet said that he had not attended them. When questioned they said WE would have to seek out the individual teachers to get the marks.
Almost 1 month later and no results, we have seen 1 exam paper which does prove he attended but this was marked as no attendence. I have now for the 3rd time spoken to the "Jefe de Estudios" who told me to tell my son to POP in and see him and why had it taken us this long to ask!!!! Today my son went looking for this "Jefe de Estudios" but no joy. It worries me too, that my son rang him after he had left the school today to tell him he could not find him, now remember i have already spoken to this teacher and he said to him "Are you a student at this school?" Again questioning him as to why no one has given him his results.

My question to anyone out there.. Is ... Has anyone experienced problems with exam results,
How have you found your childrens education? This years School Books (the first time ever i have tried to get them at the school, again since 5th September and still NO BOOKS, we have 2 so far!).

Well my daughter is still to young, so she doesnt have to pass any exams.
The books have worked well this year., paid and all kids got them last week

Last year was a nightmare with the books. as they told us to go to a shop in Santa Pola and pick them up. didnt get all until first week in October.

Cant really complain about the school itslef. Its a small village school. They are only 11 pupils in my daughters class so thats good. Only problem is that Elche tend to forget about all the small village schools, so you dont get infrastructure as in heating, computers etc until the very last.

May I suggest that if you haven't got a satisfactory answer before the 7th October you come along to the Los Verdes (Green Party) of Orihuela surgery as per the details on this posting. http://www.torrevieja.com/forums/gen...n-success.html. Councillor Monserrate Guillén works within the education system and may be able to help you with your problem.
