We are looking for a hotel in Torre , in April. Any comments on Hotel Torre Joven as a suitable place , or other sugestions welcome.

There's the Hotel La Zenia if you want nice sea views or the Hotel Tutu for a fairly budget one in Torrevieja. Sorry don't recognise Torre - do you come from Wally?

Both Hotels above, no real atmosphere in small bar areas at night. Breakfasts poor.

Hotel La Zenia, excellent value for money, good bar area with entertainment most nights, good pool and patio area, right on a excellent beach. Breakfasts included and are very good (buffet). Only complaint is that the beds are hard. On booking ask for sea view.

Hotel La Laguna, excellent accommodation and breakfasts, good pool. bar area quite at night. expensive, but has an excellent spa with a full range of treatments. Best hotel in the area but you will pay for it.

Overall Hotel La Zenia best value for money if you don't mind a hard bed.

I stayed in Hotel La Zenia a few times while getting everything sorted for my purchase and found it comfortable, pleasant, and relaxing. As Myomy says, the breakfast is very good, and despite being a buffet food was still being brought out right up to the closing time.

Have you considered renting a property for the time you're over instead? You may find that this works out a lot cheaper, although you'll have to make your own beds.

I stayed in Torrejoven last year. All I can say is it was no great shakes - Ok but nothing spectacular. I do know that for a double room in october it was about e60 per night b&b.

Why not rent an aprt - see classified ads - much cheaper. Liz
