Telmicro to Torresat

Can anyone tell me.

When transfering from Telmicro to Torresat, do Torresat use the Telmicro dish and box or do they provide another??

They will use another enigma box and small dish, hope you don't get the cowboy I did it has taken 4 attempts to get a proper installation I could post some great photos and tell you the name of the bloke too. But not on a live forum pm me if you want that info

I had a fantastic installer he came with his wife who filled in the paperwork, his name is Daniel on 660552056 all fitted in 15 minutes leaving me with a crystal clear system with over 60 UK channels

If I don't hear from Torresat by tomorrow I shall give him a call.

I must say I'm not impressed with them at all. My husband phoned the office Friday morning, the guy said we'd have the system installed by today and we've seen and heard nothing.

I went up to the girl in Iceland promoting Torresat. She took my details on the friday and by the monday the system was installed. Great I thought for two hours. Then it all went wrong. I rang Torresat and the girl said I would here from the engineer. It took five days and numerous phone calls before the engineer called. He came and fixed the problem. Great I thought for a couple of hours. The again it all went wrong. Went down to the office yesterday and the girl said I would hear today so I am waiting in. Two weeks really without TV but at least they tell me I wont be charged,. Lets See !!!!

I'm happy at the moment making use of my old telmicro equipment. Just turned the aerial to the TS transmitter, put in the frequencies and away we go - but only 38 channels I'm sorry to say obviously I have a frequency or two missing.

I know it won't last but hey - I've saved a few bob in the meantime.
