we are in torrevieja centre, my neighbours a few doors down get it on 1.45 dish, we have a pace 2600 box and I have checked at all times of day.

as the 2600 is one of the best boxes for the CB and on that dish, you should get it....

other channels similar to that frequency are Sky 2 and 3, Sky Sports news - these are on the 2a and 2b north beams - just like 11778....

if you cannot get these channels also then you may need your dish / LNB tweeking....

It's a portuguese solid dish have called installer if I get no joy will contact you ebt

Sure, no probs. A dish that size gives (should) so much signal, they're fairly easy to align.....ebt

Reception

good morning...is FIVE on the sky box ( my five is on pace channel105 but is asking for a card) or other receivers ? and this morning I have really bad reception on bbc, no 4's and none of the ITV channels...is this to do with the weather?

Okay I know its sad but it was so nice to sit last night and watch the box after 4 months of being without!!!! no, got no sky card so cant get five!!! I want a card tho!!! and cant find five on my golden interstar box either, should i get bbc2 on the GI box aswell

if your dish is big enough, and correctly aligned / set up you can get any free tv channel on any digital satellite receiver.....(as per post #29)

My dish is 1.9 and as far as i know Its alined properly, I dont like to fiddle too much with the receivers as I dont want too loose channels, maybe I need soneone to come out to check it.

With a 1.9 dish correctly aligned, you SHOULD be able to receive Chan5/BBC2 at least some of the time.

The last few days has been quite poor, and I've just, within the last hour, gone and repeaked my Famaval and I'm watching Zoo Days on Chan5, with marginal pixelation. Animal Park on BBC2 is pixelating very slightly less.

I'm in Los Altos. As satpcguy says, you can tune your Sky box and 'add' the FTA version of Chan5, but only if your dish is aligned and receiving the required signal level and BER.
