Information from Simulsat T.V. http://www.simulsattv.com/
Simulsat T.V. is based in Gran Alacant. The owners also have a company called Television por Cable
Santa Pola S.L. that has traded for many years. The company has all respective licenses to trade and
rebroadcast and the licenses are available for inspection (by appointment) at the company’s main office in
Gran Alacant.
Transmitters
Currently the new Simulsat TV service is broadcast from, or close to, the positions of some of the old
Telmicro transmission sites. Previous customers of Telmicro with a mesh aerial were receiving signals
from the old La Mata or Los Montesinos transmitters and those with a dish from the Crevillente
transmitter. Outside this area the Carrascoy transmitter is also utilized. Simulsat T.V. is seeking to add
other transmission sites as quickly and urgently as is possible to respond to customer demand.
Irdeto or Betacrypt? Many thousands of people have equipment, previously installed by Telmicro.
There were two different systems being used by the previous company.
ONLY THOSE CLIENTS WITH THE IRDETO CARDS in COSHIP boxes are compatible with the
Simulsat T.V. system that is now being transmitted.
People that have a blue Betacrypt card will unfortunately have to have their equipment changed to
receive programs once the signals are scrambled in January. There will be a charge for this that Simulsat
T.V. pledges will be based on a cost + labour basis only.
Channels
The number of channels in the line-up is currently being updated. It includes all the free to air channels
that are available to anybody across Europe with an appropriate sized dish combined with a free to air
receiver.
The company is negotiating to include some Spanish sourced premium channels that were on the old
system. These channels will only be available when the service is encrypted in the New Year, as open (free
to air) broadcasting of these channels is an infringement of the contract.
The current number of channels (36) is set to increase next year as well.
Contracts
THERE IS NO LARGE FEE INCLUDED IN CONTRACTS WITH Simulsat T.V. This maybe contrary to
what has been stated or reported in certain Free Press Newspapers or Publications or some persons
working for other Companies in this sector.
Simulsat T.V. is not making charges to clients that wish to sign contracts during December 2008 where
the client has the appropriate equipment, as stated above, and who are currently receiving a problem free
service.
Where the client requires a service call to resolve problems, such as picture break-up or lack of signal,
Simulsat T.V. will make a reasonable charge to rectify any faults.
As from January 2009 there will be a charge to complete the contract with a technician visiting to check
and adopt the equipment.
Details required for the contract include the following:
Name, Address, telephone number and email where possible, NIE/Passport no., Irdeto card
no(s), Bank account details for direct debit.
There is a monthly maintenance fee applicable from 1st January 2009 of €19.90 this is to be paid by direct
debit. This can be cancelled at any time by the customer with only one month's notice.
Technicians
Simulsat T.V. aims to use trusted and reliable technicians that have been in the trade for a number of
years and who have shown to have a good long-term relationship with clients.
From time to time, the technicians and their telephone numbers will appear on channel 6. There have
been so many calls during the transition period that it will be necessary, at times, to remove the contact
numbers to allow the technicians to complete the outstanding backlog of work. The technician covering his
allocated area will be prioritizing the backlog as quickly as possible and Simulsat T.V. asks all existing
clients and new customers to remain patient.
This information was provided to San Miguel de Salinas - the official rough guide of San Miguel de Salinas, Costa Blanca, Spain by a reliable contact at
Simulsat T.V. Details of your local technician will be published soon. For queries in Algorfa, Benijofar,
Rojales (Quesada area, Dona Pepa, Pueblo Bravo, Lo Pepin) you can currently contact Richard
email: richard.simulsattv@gmail.com and he will reply when possible

simulsat
Yes it is true but he is only a small share holder and can not compromise his position.Originalmente publicado por saminthesun Ver MensajeI heard today that one of the owners of simulsat, is a guardia civil officer from santa pola! anybody else heard about this?
But also simulsat are not able to scrambel there transmition due to the different encriptions used by telmicro and simulsat they are just hoping people will pay the monthly charge so they can recieve income from old telmicro customers without the investment of new boxes and cards.
My advice is dont pay you will not be cut off they cant do it without changing your box and card or changing simulsat boxes and cards and they dont have the money to do that. Also you may find that bbc2 ch4 do not work later in the day due to small dishes to recieve signal from sky. This is a micky mouse outfit who hope people are daft enough to pay 20 euros a month for a poor quality reception.
Dont pay save your cash and pay for torresat or buy a big dish and recieve more channels and better quality picture.
