Nice home for a one year old black cat?

We have a beautiful little 1 year old jet black cat who needs a loving home?
We have taken him in because he was found on Cabo roig beaten badly with infected eyes and very frightened.
Unfort" our other cat does not warm to him and is fighting with him alot.
If anyone knows the secret of them getting on with each other then we would love to keep him but if not we will have to find him another home.
