If anyone is in could you check out the price of a 32" LCD TV for me.
I'm going to buy one soon but with the state of the pound/Euro and the recent VAT cut it might be better to buy in the UK in £.

Try Masters in the Haberanes, good after sales and very helpful.

a uk tele wont work in spain unless you put the signal through a spanish vidio/dvd

I bought one three weeks ago in Carrefore ( i,ve never had a problem with them) it was a samsung for 449 euros bought it on my credit card it was 368 pounds, seen the same one here in the uk for 50 pounds dearer.

A UK tV will work here if it is a modern one you do not need to put it through a dvd when you plug it in if it is modern it will search for a signal it will ask you where you are and you have to put spain then it will work I am no TV engineer but I brought my TV which is 3 years old and we connected it easily

Warning re Carrefour............Once your 2 week exchange or refund period is up if anything goes wrong the most carrefour will usually do is give you the telephone number of who to ring in order to arrange repair, this will inevitably be a company/repair shop where no one speaks English. If you do not speak Spanish it's worth paying a few euros more and getting it from one of the other outlets where they will make the phone calls for you and explain the procedure.
I have found the shop within the mercadona complex at Playa Flamenca to give really good service and they will often do a price match as well.
